About Us
Come row with us on the beautiful Susquehanna River! Rowers of all ages and experience welcome. We have a variety of programs and boats available to our members.
We row out of the boathouse located on Route 11, just below Tedd’s Landing. Membership in CPRA entitles you to register for any or all of our programs. Members are also welcome to join us for social events, including picnics and intra-club regattas. Eights, fours, quads, doubles and a single are available for use by members, subject to club restrictions. A safety launch accompanies all boats out on the river.
PROGRAMS:
Learn-to-row: Open to any adult interested in learning a new skill or just refreshing an old one. Saturday, June 9th -a FREE one day introduction to rowing- both on the ergometer (rowing machine) and on the water.
Junior Rowing: Open to youths 14 - 18 years of age. Coached sessions
two to three times per week from June 11 - August 31.Novices welcome.
Adult Rowing: March 3rd – November 11th. Boats go out on a daily basis
during the summer months, weather permitting. Multiple coached sessions per week.
First Annual Masters of the Susquehanna Regatta: Sculling clinic and pig
roast on Saturday, August 18th, with the Regatta to be held on Sunday, August 19th.
Come and compete in a small, fun regatta or just come down to watch!
Pre- and Post-Season Rowing: For those rowers who can’t get
enough. Pre-season rowing runs from April-June. Post-season rowing from September-November.
