Pool Group Admission Policy
This policy was adopted to provide a fair trade off for the reduced group entrance rates in response to customer concerns. Groups who abuse the supervision policies, conduct rules, or the time limits may be suspended from using this group-rate policy or the facility by the Pool Manager or the LARA Director. Request forms are available at the LARA office to reserve the pool. If an organization requests for the Group
Admission Rate @ $4.00 before 5:00pm, the request will be considered with the following provisions:
• A group is defined as a non-family party consisting of at least 10 persons, including supervisors and leaders.
• An organization may send no more than 40 group-members (including supervisors) at any one time into pool grounds for an afternoon period, without prior approval of pool manager.
• The group supervisors must accompany and supervise the swimmers during the entire period. At least one supervisor must be present for each 10 children. Supervisors will be included in the calculation of the group admission fee at $4.00 per person.
• In the interest of safety, groups are required to schedule their group swim dates/times in advance with the Pool Manager. The Pool Staff may decline admission of any unscheduled group at the Group Admission Rate pending the current attendance at the pool. The Pool Manager or his/her designee is permitted to approve the admittance of additional groups pending the number of other visitors at the facility.
